AMAZING. It feels like older Kuu, and as though she's NOT trying to sound American. It's got such a unique, genuine feel that I haven't heard since like UNIVERSE, JAPONESQUE... I'm really happy.

Alarm, I'm lovin', all of the ballads... even Killer Monster and WORK IT. WORK IT reminds me a bit of Lay Down. I can't wait for the albums to drop!!

P.S. I hope I didn't come off sounding rude, it's just been hard to get used to Kuu's style change since about WOML for me, and I got excited hearing tracks that sounded like stuff from her TABOO--Summer Trip era. I still love her new stuff, but I'm a nostalgic person lol. I didn't mean to imply she isn't genuine, it's just American influence in global music has been so rampant the past few years, and the reason I got into J-Pop was because it was so vastly different from American music lol.

I'm guessing the song will be on angeL rather than monsteR,but it could be the lone ballad there, like Heartless was on W Face Outside. It sounds great, and the teaser looks nice! I love when she has bright colors in her MVs instead of the dull, washed out tones for a lot of ballad MVs.

It's simply gorgeous! I agree with sodiumamytal, it sounds very much like Heartless, a very emotional and somewhat empowering ballad. Also, the continuing visual aesthetic of dark black contrasted by vibrant neon colors is nice to see. It's very beautiful. I wonder if the PV will be underwater, it kind of looks that way!

I think it's gonna be like something off DNA. For monsteR, though, I hope we see more songs like OUTTA MY HEAD, Work That, and Pin Drop. While I like her sexy/aggressive songs and cute stuff, she's also a master at that weird middle ground of sexy electropop and dance numbers. I've been hooked on those kinds of releases since UNIVERSE, and hope that maybe this will fall into the middle ground.

I'm just glad Kuu's able to give us another look (maybe even a drop!) before the albums come out <3 Thanks for sharing! (that bottom pic is my new wallpaper lol)

Ah! Amazing! I'm so happy for her, I don't care if it's a singing cameo or whatever.

I actually only JUST saw the Cherry Girl movie a few months ago, when I binged a bunch of Kuu videos during quarantine. I really loved it, even though it was corny, because she's always so fun to watch - a lot of her on-stage and interlude-movie personality translated into her acting, and I loved it. She's a very high-energy performer, and it shows in her acting too.

Whatever the role, however big it is, I'm just happy for her and excited to watch!

I've seen that! It was really cool. But I think an official recorded collaboration would be great. LiSA is very much at the top of her game with Leo-NINE (I think she's breaking records!), and a duet would certainly explode the Oricon charts <3
